For Such a Time as This...

My kids love going to the zoo and seeing all the different types of animals there. Spencer says his favorite is the giraffe. So, we went to the zoo a couple days ago in Columbus on a quick little family trip. While there and looking at how God made each animal very unique and having their own skill to survive, where they live was so fascinating. For example, you would think an orange tiger with black stripes would be easy to spot but in their environment, they are perfectly camouflaged. I was reminded of how God makes everyone unique and with special gifts. He also places us all in a place where we can use these gifts for his glory. I am also reminded about Esther 4:12-14 when Mordecai tells Esther that she was placed in this perfect time and place by God to save her people. We also have a purpose and have been placed exactly where we need to be! I want to encourage each of us and remind us to continue to serve God with our gifts wherever we are!
